mats, including 100% rag, buffered,

textured, and fabric. We cut custom 

double and triple mats, multiple opening,

double thick and round or oval mats

Glazing

We offer regular, non-glare, conservation (UV filtering), non-glare conservation, or Museum glass, which is practically invisible.

We also carry regular, UV protecting (OP-3), abraision  resistant, and Optium museum acrylic for larger pieces and situations  where light weight and/or shatter resistance is important. Our design staff will be happy to recommend the appropriate glazing for your project.

 

 

Dry mounting

Dry mounting is a process by which a heat sensitive adhesive tissue is used to permanently attach a piece to a substrate, typically foam core or gator board. This non-archival process is the only way to get items perfectly flat and is great for posters, newspaper articles, and photographs. 

 

Stretching, Pinning and Sewing

Fabrics such as needleworks, jerseys, and flags are either stretched and pinned on acid free foamcore or sewn to acid free matboard. Properly mounted and framed using archival materials and techniques these items will be protected indefinitely.

 

Canvas Stretching

We will build the proper size stretcher bars to stretch or restretch your oils, acrylic, giclee prints or other works of art on canvas or linen.

 

Custom Mirrors

We make mirrors to your size specifications in any of our custom frames, including round and oval frames. Both flat and beveled mirrors are available.
